Kala chana / Bengal gram soup
This is a very simple yet effective soup made out of the extra water that remains when we boil the chana / Bengal gram . No matter how much the liquid is
1 cup or 3 cups the tempering will be same .
Add salt to the chana water &keep aside .
Take 1 to 2 tsp of cows ghee heat it .
add 10 curry leaves
1heaped tsp of jeera
2 pinch hing/ asafoetida
1tbsp chopped fresh coriander tender stem & leaves .
Pour this hot mixture over the chana water .
Add 2tsp lime juice & close lid of the soup bowl .
Leave it aside for 10mins & soup is ready for consumption.
Health benefits :
1)Great for diabetic people as it increases absorption of glucose in blood .(oh yes but then use less guess )
3)Increases iron count 4)Good for Stomach .
